Unique Way to Partition a Large Space
October 29th, 2007 | Home Improvement
I am redecorating a large, open basement area, and I was wondering what the best way would be to partition it into smaller work areas. Then I ran across a pretty unique product that solved my problem… Screenflex portable partitions. They offer an easy and very flexible solution to partitioning a large room or space like I have in my basement.

Here are the features I like the most about these partitions:
- The partitions come is a variety of attractive materials and colors. This makes matching any existing decor a breeze.
- You can get the partitions on wheels, which makes moving them easy, and rearranging how they are used to subdivide a space very flexible.
- They can be bent, moved and folded in many different ways. It’s possible to have an accordion shape dividing a room in half, or you can arrange the partitions into a rectangle, effectively creating a small ‘room’ inside of a larger space.
Now I am using a small number of partitions to divide a basement area, but with enough color-coordinated partitions, these can be used to divide or subdivide classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, church halls, meeting halls or large conference rooms in a hotel. They could even be used as an alternative to create ‘cubicles’ in an open office space.
So if you have the need to create cubicles or smaller spaces out of a large one, check out these portable partitions from Screenflex.
